Ex Beatle Ringo Starr - No More Autographs

This is a great tale for all those of you looking for an autograph from one of the beatles, dont bother sending your photo to Ringo Starr because apparently he has had enough of his fans, and posted a message on his website.
The former Beatles drummer has made an appeal for fans, supporters to stop sending him fanmail and requests for autographs and has warned everyone that he isnt signing autographs any more.
he posted a video on his website and said that as of October 20 he will officially retire his signature and stop responding to mail. what tosser you are ringo starr - you are just a drummer, and not even a legendary one at that, you got lucky by getting into the band in the first place, and your massive ego exposes you for what you are - a miserable old man!

Flashing the peace sign repeatedly (why would you do this - peace sign - get real, we are not hippies in the 1960's) and littering his speech with the phrase “peace and love”, Starr announced: “This is a serious message to everyone watching my update right now. Peace and love. Peace and love.
“I want to tell you, please, after the 20th of October, do not send fan mail to any address that you have. Nothing will be signed after the 20th of October. If that has the date on the envelope it’s going to be tossed.

“I’m warning you, with peace and love, but I have too much to do, so no more fan mail, thank you, thank you, and no objects to be signed – nothing. Peace and love, peace and love."

Scumbag misery Starr is still interested in taking your money though via his website (i mean he really needs it doesnt he)  in exchange for a range of Ringo Starr T-shirts, tote bags, hoodies and key rings available on his website - tell you what ringo, shove them up your arse!

ringo starr - miserable ex beatles who doesnt sign autographs - get real you were just a crap drummer!

Leona Lewis Punched In Head At Autograph Session

do you remember that story about a year ago about the star that won X Factor in the UK, Leona Lewis who in my opinion is a nice sweet polite girl that has always seemed really gentle and meek, and a genuine person i might add (she also has a beautiful voice as well).
The story goes and i believe it was caught on film as well which you could find on youtube i dare say. - anyway Ms Lewis was at a bookstore called waterstones where she was meeting fans and posing for photographs and autogrpahs for an hour and a half at a book signing session of her new autobiography which is called  "Dreams," which is about her meteoric rise from being a secretary in an office to her winning the reality show -  when "a guy came up and punched her to the side of the head," her spokesperson said.

An onlooker at the Piccadilly store said, the attacker "walked up to miss lewis with the book, she signed it and, as she looked up, he just punched her." - well what a weirdo is all i can say.

"She was running out with her hand over her eye," added another witness. "I just saw a man on the floor. Suddenly the security all jumped on him and they were trying to pull him out and he was just laughing, he thought it was funny."
In a statement, Waterstones bookstore said this was the first incident of this kind it had encountered and officials were supporting the police in their investigation.

Argument over giving autographs to fans at events

here is a great tale of just how annoyed some stars can get over autogrpah signing for fans when they are supposed to be practising their golf at serious money spinning events, this was of course the heated exchange between jack nicklaus and gary player - what a tizzz - handbags at 10 paces

Presidents Cup captains Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player engaged in an animated exchange over players signing autographs during practise rounds on Tuesday.

Nicklaus, who is captaining the US team for a third time, confronted Player on the driving range and accused the International team captain of breaking and agreement to not allow players to sign autographs on the golf course.
World number two Vijay Singh, Retief Goosen and the International team in general were seen signing autographs throughout the day as they practised at the Robert Trent Golf Course. Later, some US team members also signed for fans.
After talking with Player, Nicklaus told fans around the driving range – as he was signing autographs – that some of his players thought the Internationals were making them look “like jerks”, said Nicklaus.
The European team drove the US to distraction at last year's Ryder Cup in Oakland Hills near Detroit, signing autographs and mingling with American fans as part of a major charm offensive designed to help diffuse some of the hostility they might face during the event.

little girl gets tiger woods photo autographed on the golf course

I thought this was a great story so had to write about it, its from the belfast telegraph in northern ireland, its the story of a little 6 year old girl who broke protocol to get her heros autogrpah and photo signed by the double crossing cheat, tiger woods lol

A six year old schoolgirl broke through the crazy over handed heavyweight security around the golfing legend that is Tiger Woods to get her golfing hero's photogrpah signed and endorsed by giving his autograph during one of his public outings whilst he was over there....

Thousands of fans who hasd made the trip to get a view of the legend, kept at a distance from the golf star, but they cheered and roared on little Ava Mulhall, from Innishannon, County Cork, after she ducked under the feeble fencing and ran onto a golf course fairway after the legendary golfing superstar.

Woods was playing at Limerick's exclusive Adare Manor course and was on the 8th hole i believ as part of a celebrity ProAm organised by one of Ireland's biggest tycoons, JP McManus who was once invoolved in the ownership of manchester united.
little Ava, who has been playing golf for over a year, already had her card signed by 19 other big-name players happy to give fans autographs - including Jose Maria Olazabal, John Daly and Fred Funk
But the elusive World No 1 had remained out of reach from everyone including this delightful little girl who just wanted an autograph.

In a daring move that drew delighted cheers from spectators, Ava darted onto the fairway and even dodged a steward who tried to block her, to get to the heavily-protected Woods.

what a great story!!!

Want to Pay At An Event For A B List Star Autograph Photo?

well the question today is in the title. would you be happy to attend  an autograph function or sci fi fair or comic con event and get to see a guy who was famous for being in a suit 30 years ago hand out photographs and autographs? well there are worse ways to spend your weekends granted, but as this article on the subject of b list stars and autographs states, some of these guys arent always that busy if they attend every function becuase thats how they make their income. so i guess that guys like lou ferringo who was the hulk back in the 1970's can do this. but what i dont understand, is, do they really expect fans to be stumping up $20 a go just for the privilige? where do they get off?
i could reel off hundreds of very famous movie stars, pop stars and athletes that do it for free, that are polite kind and love their fans, so when some guy who dressed up in  monkey suit wants $20 for an autograph, and hes not event hat famous or in demand then i sure as hell arent going to be handing out my hard earned cash to him.
ok thats it, rant over for the day....
